My name is Lydia Nichole (Nikki for short!). I'm 23 and from the Memphis area. I am happily married to my best friend (Colin). We were married on March, 29, 2008. We just moved into our new home a few months ago and are having a blast right now personalizing it and fixing it up!

Right now I am having a blast as a housewife! My husband and I are planning to try to start a family soon in a few months! Before I became a housewife, I was a vet tech for animal control. I adore animals and love working with them! I also worked as a florist for quite a while (I went to design school the summer I turned 17.) I love flowers and anything that involves creativity! :)

I have 2 rescued dogs - Fosters (an Australian Shepherd) and Whiskey (a Carolina Dog aka...Amercian Dingo)

We also have 3 beautiful rescued cats - Kojak (Black/White DSH), Velvet (Black DSH), Isabella (odd-eyed Turkish Angora.)

As far as aquariums go, I have 1 ADF, 3 neon tetras, and 1 male betta!

I am pretty easy going! I love music, cooking, comedy, painting, floral design, and just about anything to do with animals! I have been fostering infant puppies and kittens since I was young. It is not uncommon for me to have several litters of rescue kittens at a time in our home! I foster sick or young ones until they are ready to be spayed/neutered then placed up for adoption. I love fostering- especially kittens! I also foster animals post op too on occassion- it's not uncommon to find a 3 legged dog or a 1 eyed cat in our house!

At the moment I am planning to become a K-9 Therapy Dog handler someday! I will likely be adopting a rescued greyhound from our local rescue to go through training with as my partner if all goes according to plan!
